SNOWFLAKE ( SNOWPRO CERTIFICATIONS GUIDE & NOTES + CHEATSHEET)

1. What is SNOWFLAKE? Firstly found in 2012 in San Mateo, California by three data warehousing experts:  Benoît Dageville, Thierry Cruanes and Marcin Żukowski .  It is a cloud hosted ,relational database  built on GCP,AWS,Azure. Can build a data warehouse on demand. There is no on premises version of snowflake. It can't be installed by user. 2. Advantages of SNOWFALKE? Easy to use. Cheaper than on premises. MFA Auto scale up and scale down according to the requirement. It runs on cloud only as no special hardware required.
